Tawatina Bridge Project
The Tawatina Bridge is part of the 13 km first phase of the Light Rail Transit construction project in the Edmonton Valley. Inline Group has been continuously monitoring the bridge construction using control systems set up on both the ground and the bridge to ensure pinpoint accuracy. Our surveyors are using innovative strategies to measure elevations, alignments, placements of bridge components and falsework forms through constricted and challenging environments. Inline employees have been involved in construction from the ground, all the way to the very top of the bridge piers. This work requires coordination with the client and all trades on the site to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality results.

Project Details
The $391 million project is a cable stayed, concrete box girder bridge and pedestrian walkway that will cross the North Saskatchewan River over three spans. The construction process involves both the use of cast-in-place falsework, as well as a form traveler system where the bridge is constructed one section at a time.
This project is extremely monumental for the City of Edmonton and will be a part of the City’s skyline for decades to come. We at Inline are proud to be involved in such a project.
